I loved Arrowtown. I bought some long underwear at a store there that saved me and kept me warm as I made my way through the south island (was much colder and damp than I expected).
I remember how cute it was that it looked so old and historic yet there was a little concrete skate park for the local kids to skateboard in.

The main street of Arrowtown, all the shop fronts have been restored to almost original. It is such a pretty wee town.
